Bacon Pancake Dippers Recipe

For the best morning recipe for the whole family, serve Bacon Pancake Dippers with warm maple syrup and don't use forks.  

INGREDIENT

– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour – 2 teaspoons baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda – 1 Tablespoon sugar – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1 cup milk of choice – 1/2 cup sour cream – 1 large egg – 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, plus more for cooking – 12 slices bacon, cooked – Maple syrup, for serving

INSTRUCTION

Mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, sugar, and salt together in a large bowl using a whisk. Add the milk, sour cream, egg, and melted butter to a different medium bowl and mix them together using a whisk.

Step 1

Mix the dry and wet ingredients together until they are just mixed. It's okay for the batter to have lumps. Butter should be used to grease a griddle or grill pan.

Step 2

Place a few cooked bacon slices on the pan, leaving at least 3 inches between each one.

Step 3

Spread the pancake mix over and around the bacon. While the pancake is cooking, let the sides start to bubble. Once you flip the pancakes, keep cooking them until they are done all the way through.

Step 4

Do the same thing again with the rest of the pancake batter and bacon. Warm up the pancakes and serve them with maple syrup to dip them in.
