Celebrate the holidays with this fun recipe for a Cranberry Champagne Cocktail with fresh cranberries and orange juice.
INGREDIENT
– 1 (12-oz.) bag cranberries – 1 cup sugar– 1/4 cup Grand Marnier– 1 medium orange, zested and juiced– 1 (750-ml.) bottle dry champagne or sparkling wine

INSTRUCTION
CHILL CHAMPAGNE AND MAKE CRANBERRY SYRUP :- Set the medium-sized pot over medium-low heat and add the sugar, orange juice and zest, Grand Marnier, and 1 cup of water.

Step 1
It will take about 15 minutes of cooking after the mixture comes to a boil for the cranberries to burst and get soft.

Step 2
After taking it off the heat, let it cool for 10 minutes. Put a sieve over a bowl, and then pour the mixture through it.

Step 3
Throw away the solids, then cover the syrup, put it in the fridge for at least two hours and up to overnight.

Step 4
To serve, fill a Champagne glass with ice and add 2 tablespoons of cranberry syrup. Then, pour chilled champagne on top of the syrup. Serve right away.
