Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). A 9x5 loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray should be set aside. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix ¼ cup (60 grams) melted butter and beer with dry ingredients until just combined.

Place the dough into the loaf pan that has been prepared and level it out. On top of the batter, add the last 2 tablespoons (30 grams) of melted butter.

350°F (177°C) for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle of the bread comes out clean.

Let it cool for 30 minutes on a wire rack in the pan, then carefully take it out and put it back on the wire rack to cool all the way through.
