Dutch Baby Pancake Recipe

For a great breakfast, try a Dutch Baby Pancake. It's a puff pancake with crispy ends and a cream-filled middle. Baked in the oven in a hot cast iron pan that has been butter.  

– 5 large eggs room temperature – 2 tablespoons granulated sugar – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – ¼ teaspoon cinnamon – ¼ teaspoon salt – 3/4 cup all-purpose flour – 3/4 cup whole milk – 4 tablespoons butter melted – Fro Serving/Garnish – Powdered sugar – Fresh berrie – Maple syrup

Warm up the oven to 425℉ while a 10-inch cast iron skillet is inside.

Put the sugar, cinnamon, ground cinnamon, and eggs into a mixer. Mix until everything is well mixed.

Blend flour and milk until mixed. Pour melted butter into the hot skillet and swirl to coat.

Step 3

Bake the batter for 20 minutes in the skillet. Turn off the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes with the door closed.

Step 4

Blend flour and milk until mixed. Take it out of the oven and put powdered sugar on top. Enjoy it with maple syrup and fresh berries.
