A funfetti cake mix plus a few more ingredients to 'doctor up' the cake mix make homemade donuts quick and easy. Vanilla glaze and funfetti sprinkles on top!
– Funfetti Cake Mix Donut– 1 box (15.25 oz) funfetti cake mix– 3/4 cup half & half– 1/3 cup vegetable or canola oil– 2 large egg– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract– Vanilla Glaze– 2 cups powdered sugar– 1/4 cup half & half– 2 tablespoons butter melted– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract– 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkle

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 6-cavity donut pan with spray.
Add dry cake mix, half-and-half, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to a large bowl. Mix until lump-free.

Fill each donut cavity 2/3 full with batter using a piping bag, Ziploc bag (with the tip/corner cut off), or spoon.

Avoid overfilling. Just over halfway full, each.
Bake donuts for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.

After 5 minutes in the pan, transfer the donuts to a cooling rack to finish cooling before frosting.

GLAZE: Mix powdered sugar, half-and-half, melted butter, and vanilla.

Dip each donut top into the glaze to coat. Return it to the cooling rack and sprinkle sprinkles on the glaze.

For simpler cleanup, place parchment paper or tin foil under the cooling rack. Leave glazed donuts for 30 minutes to solidify.
