Mongolian Crispy Tofu And Broccoli Stir Fry Recipe 

Meatless Mondays or a quick protein-packed vegetarian meal? Try this Mongolian Crispy Tofu and Broccoli Stir Fry. Slightly fried firm tofu is tossed in a salty-sweet sticky sauce with wok-charred broccoli.

Ingredient

– Crispy Tofu – 1 Tablespoon Oil – 1 pound Firm Tofu (about 400 – 450 g) – Mongolian Sauce – 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce – 1/2 Cup Sugar – Cornstarch Slurry – 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch – 1/2 Cup Water – Other Ingredient – 1 Tablespoon Oil – 1 Tablespoon Ginger – 1 Tablespoon Garlic – 1 Head Broccoli – Optional Garnishe – 1 Tablesppon Chilli sauce – 1 teaspoon Sesame Seed – 1 Tablespoon Spring Onion – 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil

Crispy TofuHeat a large flat pan and oil it.Heat oil and fry sliced tofu until golden brown and crispy from both sides.Air Fryer: Oil tofu and air fry 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway. Crispy air-fry.

Cornstarch Slurry, Mongolian Sauce Stir soy sauce and sugar until sugar dissolves. Cornstarch and water slurry.

Combining it Fry ginger and garlic in wok oil for 10–20 seconds on high. Add broccoli and stir fry until slightly golden brown.

Add Mongolian sauce (soy sauce and sugar) and simmer for a minute. Add the cornstarch slurry to the wok and stir again.

Simmer sauce until brown. Keep stirring. Mix in crispy tofu.

If you want, you can add sesame seeds and spring onions as a garnish and drizzle with sesame oil. Serve hot.
