Old Fashioned EGGLESS CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES RECIPE

Not any eggs? Not a problem! These chocolate chip cookies don't have eggs, but they taste like the classic cookie recipe. No need for special egg substitutes!

– 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour spooned and leveled (345 grams) – 1 tablespoon cornstarch or cornflour (8 grams) – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 1 teaspoon salt – 1 cup unsalted butter softened (230 grams)

Ingredient

– 1 cup packed light brown sugar (200 grams) – ½ cup granulated sugar (100 grams) – ⅓ cup whole milk at room temperature (80 ml) – 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract – 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (270 grams)

Direction

Mix the dry ingredients: Mix flour, cornflour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.  Mix wet ingredients: Beat butter well. I use a paddle-equipped stand mixer.

Beat in the sugars. Last, add milk and vanilla. Mix dry and wet ingredients to finish dough. Last, mix the chocolate chips into the cookie dough until just combined.

I make cookie dough balls with a 1.5 tablespoon scoop.  Scoop cookie dough onto three parchment-lined sheets. Since cookie dough balls spread in the oven, leave space between them.
