Peanut Butter Bread Recipe

Easy peanut butter quick bread has a soft, moist, nutty interior and a deliciously browned outside. Low-ingredient depression-era dishes inspired this peanut butter bread. 

– 2 cups (240 g) all purpose flour – 3 teaspoons baking powder – ½ teaspoon salt – ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar – ¼ cup (50 g) light brown sugar – 1 cup (264 g) creamy peanut butter – 2 large eggs, room temperature – 1 cup (237 ml) milk, room temperature

Adjust oven temperature to 350 F (170 C). Lay parchment paper into a 9 x 5 loaf pan, allowing a small overhang on both sides.

Mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a big bowl until thoroughly blended. Put aside.

Mix the peanut butter and sugars in a large bowl until smooth. Whisk the eggs and milk until smooth and fully blended.

Stir dry ingredients just until incorporated. Pour the peanut butter batter into the pan evenly. Smooth the bread's top using a spoon or flexible spatula.

Peanut butter bread should have moist crumbs on a toothpick after 40–50 minutes. To avoid overbrowning, foil-bake bread. Bread cools 15 minutes in loaf pan.
