Sticky Cantonese Barbecue Baked Chicken Wings Recipe

Want a fresh way to eat wings? Try this sticky Cantonese barbecue baked chicken wings recipe. Now that football season is here, there's extra reason to eat wings.

Ingredient

– 1½–2 lbs split chicken wing – 1 teaspoon salt – 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce – 2 tablespoons ketchup – 2 tablespoons rice vinegar – 2 tablespoons honey – 1 tablespoon soy sauce – 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil – 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

Direction

Heat oven to 400 F.Sprinkle wings with salt. Put the wings on a wire rack on top of a sheet pan in a single layer.

Bake the wings for forty minutes, or until they have begun to become a golden brown color.

Place the other ingredients in a small pan over medium heat while the wings cook.

After simmering, cook for 3–4 minutes until thickened. It will thicken as it cools.

Take the wings out of the oven and use the sauce to cover both sides of them.

Put the wings back in the oven and cook for another 10 minutes.

If desired, add sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve wings after 5 minutes of cooling.
