Sticky Sesame Chicken Wings Recipe


Get your oven ready for a recipe for Sticky Sesame Chicken wings that are baked until they are crispy.


– 3 pounds chicken wing – 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil – 2 Tablespoons fish sauce – 3/4 cup light brown sugar – 1/3 cup lime juice – 1 1/2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flake – 2 Tablespoons minced garlic – 2 Tablespoons sesame oil – 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, cold – 1/4 cup cilantro leaves, minced – 1 Tablespoon toasted sesame seed



Heat the oven to 375°F. Place a baking rack on a foil-lined baking sheet. Place chicken wings in a large bowl. 


Step 1

Drizzle with vegetable oil and season with 1 tsp salt and ½ tsp pepper Place wings in a single layer on the oven rack.


Step 2

Bake wings 30–35 minutes until done and crispy. Prepare the sauce while the wings bake.


Step 3

In a medium saucepan, mix fish sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, crushed red pepper flakes, and garlic. Simmer the mixture for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.


Step 4

Whisk sesame oil into the sauce and remove from heat. Cool the sauce for 15 minutes after whisking in the butter.


Step 5

Place the wings in a big bowl after baking. Pour sauce over top, then toss with cilantro and sesame seeds. Serve now.
