Strawberry Pretzel Dessert Cups Recipe


This simple recipe for Strawberry Pretzel Dessert Cups combines a crunchy pretzel crust with a smooth and creamy cheesecake and fresh fruit.  


– 4 cups pretzel – 3 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted – 2 (8-oz.) packages cream cheese, at room temp – 3 Tablespoons heavy cream – 2 teaspoons lemon zest – 2 Tablespoons lemon juice – 1/4 cup white sugar – 2 teaspoons vanilla extract – 2 cups chopped strawberrie – Homemade or store-bought whipped cream, for topping



Process pretzels in a food processor until finely ground. Stir melted butter into pretzels in a medium bowl until fully blended. Set aside.  


Step 1

Beat cream cheese until smooth in a stand mixer basin with the paddle attachment or a handheld mixer. Beat heavy cream, lemon zest, lemon juice, sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy. 


Step 2

Disperse the pretzel mixture into serving glasses, saving some for garnish. Spoon cream cheese over pretzels. (Or, cut off the tip of a piping bag or plastic bag and pipe the mixture into the cups.)  


Step 3

Add chopped strawberries to cream cheese. Add whipped cream to strawberries and top with reserved pretzel crumbs. Serve.
