Edible Cookie Dough (Flourless and Eggless) Recipe

For the best Edible Cookie Dough recipe that doesn't need eggs or flour, skip the oven and grab a spoon instead!

– 1 1/2 cups old fashioned (rolled) oats (See Kelly's Notes) – 3/4 cup (1 ½ sticks) unsalted butter, at room temp – 1/2 cup white sugar – 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt – 1 cup semisweet chocolate chip

Putting the oats in a food processor and pulse them a few times to make a powder that looks like flour. Leave the ground oats alone.

Step 1

In the bowl of a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, cream the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together for about two minutes, scraping down the sides as needed.

Step 2

The mixture should be light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract until it's all well mixed in. Mix in the salt and ground oats until they are just mixed in.

Step 3

Just until everything is mixed in, add the chocolate chips. You can serve it right away, put it in the fridge or freezer, and cover it tightly with plastic wrap until you're ready to serve it.
