Everything Puff Pastry Pigs In A Blanket Recipe


This recipe for Everything Puff Pastry Pigs in a Blanket turns flaky puff pastry into a quick and easy snack or treat.  


– All-purpose flour, for dusting work surface – 1/2 of a (17.3-oz.) package frozen puff pastry (1 sheet), thawed – 8 hot dog – 1 large egg, lightly beaten – 2 Tablespoons “everything” seasoning 



Warm the oven up to 400°F. Sprinkle some flour on the work area, then unfold the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 1/2-inch strips along the length of the sheet.  


Step 1

Dry the hot dogs well with a paper towel. Then, wrap a puff pastry strip around each one and place it on the baking sheet seam side down.   


Step 2

Spread the egg on the puff pastry and then spread it with the "everything" seasoning.  


Step 3

When the puff pastry is golden brown and cooked all the way through, the hot dogs are ready. Take the hot dogs out of the oven and serve them.
