Overnight Eggnog French Toast Recipe

With this family-favorite recipe for Overnight Eggnog French Toast, you can enjoy the most controversial drink of the winter.  

INGREDIENT

– 3/4 cup eggnog – 3 large egg – 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon – 1 Tablespoon sugar – 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract – 6 slices thick-cut bread or Texas Toast – Unsalted butter, for cooking – Maple syrup, for serving

INSTRUCTION

Mix eggnog, eggs, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla essence in a 13x9-inch baking pan. Turn the bread slices to coat, then place them in a single layer in the pan.

Step 1

Secure the pan with plastic wrap and chill overnight. Heat a big sauté pan on medium-low before serving. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in the pan and add 2 or 3 pieces of French toast.

Step 2

Cook until golden brown and slightly crisped, about 5 minutes, then flip and cook until done.

Step 3

Repeat the cooking process with the remaining French toast slices and serve on plates. Serve maple syrup-topped French toast.
