Pumpkin Waffles Recipe

Pumpkin waffles with pumpkin spice are the perfect fall breakfast! Pure pumpkin with toasty spices atop homemade waffles. Get ready for pumpkin season with these fluffy waffles.  

– Dry Ingredients For Waffle – 2½ cups all-purpose flour – 1/4 cup granulated sugar – 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar – 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice – 2 teaspoons baking powder – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 1 teaspoon kosher salt – Wet Ingredients For Waffle – 2 large eggs  – 2 cups whole milk  – 1 cup pure pumpkin – 4 tablespoons butter melted & slightly cooled – 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Mix the dry ingredients in a medium-sized bowl with a whisk until there are no more lumps. Leave the bowl alone.

Put the eggs in a bigger bowl and whisk them well. Melt the butter and vanilla extract and then add the milk. Mix the wet ingredients well and make them smooth with a whisk.

Mix dry ingredients with the wet ingredients in the bigger bowl. Use a rubber or silicone spatula to mix until no flour streaks remain.

Let waffle batter rest for 15 minutes before frying. At the end of rest time, heat your waffle maker to your liking.

Step 4

Spray heated waffle maker with nonstick cooking spray. Portion waffle batter onto the waffle maker using a 1-cup measuring cup.

Step 5

Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, or until the texture you want is reached. Warm it up and serve it with maple syrup, whipped cream, or nuts that have been chopped.
