Shrimp Rolls Recipe

Shrimp rolls with a delicious, creamy filling in a toasted, buttery brioche bread. This shrimp roll dish is like a lobster roll but uses cheaper, easier-to-find shrimp.   

– Shrimp Salad – 1.5 pounds pre-cooked small shrimp  – 2 stalks celery finely diced – 2 green onions thinly sliced – 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill – 1/3 cup mayonnaise – 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice – 1 tablespoon dijon mustard – 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning – ½ teaspoon kosher salt – ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper – Shrimp Roll Bun – 4-6 split-top brioche hot dog bun – 2 tablespoons butter

Cut the shrimp into bite-sized pieces. Mix the chopped shrimp in a large basin.

Stir in celery, green onions, and chopped fresh dill to shrimp. Combine everything by stirring. Set aside.

Mix mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, kosher salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.

Step 3

Pour dressing over shrimp mixture and mix well. Put split-top brioche buns on a parchment-lined baking pan.

Heat butter in the microwave for 15-20 seconds. Apply melted butter generously to each bun, inside and out.

Step 4

Oven-broil the buns for 1-2 minutes till desired. Overfill toasted hot buns with shrimp salad. Enjoy!
